Mr. Harvey Emmett Gunter

Aiken, SC—A celebration of life service will be held at North Aiken Church of God on May 25, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor John Harbin officiating.  Mr. Harvey Emmett Gunter, age 69, entered into rest on May 15, 2024 at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital.  He was the son of the late Mr. Harvey D. Gunter and the late Mrs. Emmett Langsford Gunter.   He was the loving husband to his beloved wife Mrs. Marie Gunter.  Mr. Gunter was a member of North Aiken Church of God.  He was in the Army National Guard for six years. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, walking in his yard and barn, grilling, and reading his Bible.  He enjoyed tractors, four wheelers, listening to country music, watching old western movies, and spending time with his family and his three dogs. Mr. Gunter will be missed by his family and friends. Survivors include one daughter, Tiffani (Bruce) Mead, Columbia; and one sister, Annette Gunter Debose, Aiken; one grandchild, Anders Mead, Columbia; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
