Grover Tyler, Jr.

Grover Tyler Jr, age 49, was born on August 25, 1973, and entered into eternal rest on April 19, 2023 when his life ended unexpectedly. He was a student at Aiken High School and graduated with the class of 1993. Grover loved sports. He was a former football player of Aiken High School and played baseball for USC of Aiken Post 26 League. He was a dedicated worker for Amick Farms until his recent health failure. Grover believed in being loyal to all his family and friends whom he loved dearly.

Grover was preceding in death by his maternal grandparents Ms. Elease Kirkland and Mr. Samuel Cullum Sr., his paternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Frank (Edna Mae) Tyler all of Aiken County. He leaves to cherish his three children Brittany Coates of Aiken, S.C., Chiquita Tyler and Bobby (Tiffany) Coates both of Augusta, Ga, his loving parents Diane Cullum Tyler and Grover Tyler Sr both of Aiken S.C., two sisters Mae Buggs of Graniteville, S.C. and Latoya Tyler of Rock Hill, S.C.; three brothers, Anthony Tyler of Aiken, S.C. Rafael Tyler of Augusta, Ga and Everette (Cassidy) Jones of Graniteville, S.C., Nine grandchildren, Five nephews, three nieces, two great nieces, a host of uncles, aunts family and friends. Grover was truly loved and will be missed by many. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Friendship Baptist Church.
