Mr. Gregory “Greg” Leon Gainey

Aiken, SC-- Mr. Gregory “Greg” Leon Gainey, age 65, entered into rest on November 24, 2025 at his home. He was born in Florala, Alabama and was the son to the late Mr. Leon Gainey and the late Mrs. Kay Barnes Hall; and the loving husband to his beloved wife Mrs. Linda S. Faulkner. Mr. Gainey made Aiken his home for the past 32 years. He worked in food service for 40 years. He also worked at Piggy Wiggly as a meat cutter, BI-LO as a market manager, and Food Lion as a market manager. Some of his hobbies included hunting and fishing. Mr. Gainey will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Additional survivors include: two brothers Jessie Kevin Hall, Florala, AL and Craig Leon Gainey, Easly, SC; one sister Leslie Peavler, Evans, GA; and four grandchildren Jered Doolittle, Caleb Doolittle, Noah Doolittle, and Carson Foster. Internment will follow at a later date in Florala, AL.
