Mr. Gerald Keith Duncan
Windsor, SC—A celebration of life service for Mr. Gerald Keith Duncan, age 66, will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Cole Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenny Murphy officiating. Military Honors will be accorded by the U.S. Army Ceremonial Team, Fort Jackson, SC. Interment will take place 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Bakers Forge Memorial Cemetery in LaFollette, TN, under the direction of Cross-Smith Funeral Home, LaFollette, TN. Mr. Duncan was the beloved husband of Mrs. Teresa Elijah Duncan and the son of the late Mr. Convie Duncan and the late Mrs. Mildred York Duncan. He was born in Oneida, TN, and had made Windsor, SC his home since 1979. Mr. Duncan was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in 1975-1979. He was an independent truck driver for 28 years and had retired in 2018. His hobbies included cars, fishing, and drag racing. He was a member of the Aiken Masonic Lodge Post #156 A.F.M. on Laurens St., The Jamil Aiken County Shrine Club, and the York Rite. Additional survivors include: three sons Eric (Judy) Duncan, North Augusta, Cory Duncan, Windsor, and Brian Duncan, Aiken; one daughter Amy Duncan, Windsor; six brothers Murrel (Molly) Duncan, Aiken, James Duncan, Huntsville, TN, Rev. Hilton Duncan, Huntsville, TN, Eugene Duncan, Huntsville, TN, James Duncan, Huntsville, TN, and Johnny (Linda) Shoopman, Jellico, TN; four sisters Sharon Sutton, Knoxville, TN, Annette (Donnie) Owens, Jacksboro, TN, Debbie (Mark) Buttrum Helenwood, TN, Vanessa (Kevin) Hicks, Oneida, TN; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers William, Fouston, Roger, Duncan and Justin Shoopman. A visitation with the family will take place one hour prior to service at COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PKWY (118 BYPASS) AIKEN, SC 29801 803-648-7175.
