Mr. George Elmer Baughman
Aiken—Entered into rest Sunday February 23, 2014 at Pepper Hill Nursing Home, Mr. George Elmer Baughman age 83, husband of 52 years to the late Mrs. Margaret Walker Baughman and son of the late Mr. Sammie Leon Baughman and the late Mrs. Lottie Seigler Baughman.
A service celebrating his life will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday February 26, 2014 at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Buddy Brinkley and Rev. Brad Willis officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Mr. Baughman was a native and a lifelong resident of Aiken County and retired as a supervisor with Kentucky-Tennessee Clay Mines, Aiken. He is a member of Central Baptist Church and attended Kedron Baptist Church. Mr. Baughman had a love for Southern Gospel Music, Fishing, and Gardening.
Survivors include one son, Harvey (Marjorie) Fox, Aiken; one daughter Linda (David) Moore, Aiken; two brothers, Brunson Baughman, Aiken, Artis Baughman, Vaucluse; two sisters, Mary Fox, Aiken, Myrtis Blume, Lexington; a daughter-in-law, Betty Fox Coughenour, North Augusta; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Mr. Baughman was predeceased by one son, Richard Fox, two brothers, Albert and Vernon Baughman, and one sister, Bessie Tesnair.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Blume, Tommy Clark, Philip Barton, Leon Baughman, David Clark, and David Ayers.

A visitation with the family will take place 6-8 pm today Tuesday, February 25, 2014 in the sanctuary of Central Baptist Church.
