Geneva Cook

A Celebration of life service for Mrs. Sally Geneva McCravy Cook, age 76 will be held  12:00 noon Thursday January 4, 2018 at Maranatha Baptist Church Hwy #1 North, Aiken,  with Rev. Bobby Grover officiating.  Interment will be private.  Mrs. Cook entered into rest Saturday December 30, 2017 at her residence. She was the beloved wife of 54 years to the late Mr. James Gene Cook and a daughter of the late Mr. John McCravy and the late Mrs. Harriett Riley McCravy.  Mrs. Cook was born in Columbia, SC and lived most of her life in Aiken County.  She was an assembly operator for Smith Kline Beachum in Aiken for 14 years retiring in 2001.  Mrs. Cook loved to sew, cook and go camping and also work cross word puzzles and do word search in her spare time.  she was proud and loved her family and grandchildren very much.  Mrs. Cook was an active member of Maranatha Baptist Church, Aiken.  Survivors include three daughters, Marie (Milton) Babb, Aiken, Sherry (Buddy) Walters, Aiken, Gennie (Phillip) Morris, Aiken; one son, Johnny Keenan, Warrenville; one brother, John McCravy, Swansea; six grandchildren, Mandy Fields, Justin (Angel) Walters, Amber Richardson, Austin Richardson, Alayna Raborn, and Aiden Morris; thirteen great grandchildren and two special great grandchildren Malyah and Alexis Walters of Aiken. Mrs. Cook was predeceased by one sister, Mary Ellen Holsenback, two grandchildren, Christy Gore and Brandon Walters.   A visitation with the family will take place  11:00 until time of service Thursday January 4, 2018 at Maranatha Baptist Church Hwy #1 Columbia Hwy, Aiken, SC.  COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PARKWAY, (118) BY PASS, AIKEN, SC, 29801. 803-648-7175.
