Mrs. Emma I. Hambly Taylor
Aiken—A celebration of life service for Mrs. Emma I. Hambly Taylor age 92 will be held 6:00 pm Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Cole Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Roy L. Head officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in Pocassett Hill Cemetery, Tiverton, RI.
Mrs. Emma I. Hambly Taylor passed away August 10, 2013 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. She was the beloved wife of 67 years to the late Mr. Norman Taylor, and daughter of the late Mr. Milton Franklin Hambly, and the late Mrs. Annie Taylor Hambly.
Mrs. Taylor was a native of Tiverton, RI, and moved to Aiken in 2006. Mrs. Taylor made Aiken County her home for the past 8 years. She was a member of Redds Branch Baptist Church, Aiken.
Survivors include one son, William (Sheila) Taylor, Somerset, MA; five grandchildren, Scott Pizio, David (Paula) Pizio, Fall River, MA, Jonathan Taylor, Nathan (Stacy) Taylor, Somerset, MA, Amy (Todd) Moore, Aiken; five great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Pizio, Dylan, Brennan, Noah Taylor, Maycie Moore, and nieces Corinne Mustafa, Livermore, CA, Sharon Viera, Westport, MA; one son-in-law, Mr. Roger Pizio, Aiken. Mrs. Taylor was predeceased by one daughter, Mrs. Carol Pizio.
In lieu of flowers the family has suggested that memorials be made to Mead Hall Episcopal School, 129 Pendleton Street, SW, Aiken, SC 29801.
