Mr. Edgar Cecil McMichen

Aiken, SC—A celebration of life service for Mr. Edgar Cecil McMichen, age 72 will be held 4:00 pm Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Broadway United Methodist Church, Orlando, FL with Pastor Tracy Hunter and Pastor Thomas Weber officiating.  Interment will be held at a later date.

Mr. McMichen was a native of Orlando, FL and had Aiken, SC his home for the past 6 months.  He was the beloved husband of 51 years to Mrs. Isla Marie Cowart McMichen of Aiken, SC and the son of the late Mr. Herbert Cecil McMichen and the late Mrs. Betrice Mae Lee McMichen.  Mr. McMichen was a retired salesman with NAPA with 55 years of service, was a Methodist by faith.

Additional survivors include three sons, Michael C. (Suzanne) McMichen, San Antonio, TX, Victor L. (Caroline) McMichen, Parker, CO, John R. (Jackie) Herrin, Lauderhills, FL; two daughters, Cynthia L. McMichen, Miami, FL, Sandra L. (James) Leonard, Aiken, SC; two sisters, Dorothy J. McMichen, Oviedo, FL, Jean B. Burlage, ST. Petersburg, FL; twelve grandchildren.

The family suggest that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Carciniod Cancer Foundation, Inc., 333 Mamaroneck, Ave., #492, White Plains, NY, 10605.
