Augusta, GA---Entered into rest Friday January 5th, 2018 at University Hospital Summerville, Augusta, GA Mr. Earl Stanley Holcomb, age 79.  Mr. Holcomb was the son of the late Mr. Mark Stanly Holcomb and the late Mrs. Ethel Church Holcomb.  He was a native of Little Genesee, PA and had made Augusta, GA his home for the past 35 years.  Mr. Holcomb was a retired Register Nurse and held a masters degree in nursing and a veteran of the U.S. States Navy where he attained his nursing degree. He attended Maranatha Fellowship Church, Augusta.  Survivors include two daughters, Vivian (Chris) Johnson, Warrenville; Lydia (George) Jalagonia, Fredericksburg, VA; one brother, Dean Holcomb, PA; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mr. Holcomb was also predeceased by one son, Samuel Holcomb and one brother, Lee Holcomb.
