Mrs. Doris Elizabeth Adler Roberts

Aiken—Entered into rest Wednesday July 30, 2014 at her residence at Cumberland Village, Mrs. Doris Elizabeth Adler Roberts age 91, wife of the late Mr. Robert Clarke Roberts, and daughter of the late Dr. Frederick Adler, and the late Mrs. Mildred Leithold Adler.

Mrs. Roberts was a native of Cleveland OH, and had made Aiken her home for the past 17 years.  Survivors include one son, Douglas Clarke (Mary) Roberts, South Windsor, CT; one daughter, Gail Anne Roberts (Richard) Cardalico, Lake Worth, FL; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren,  and several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Roberts was also predeceased by two sisters, Harriet Adler Hunt, and Mary Adler Cockrell.

The family would like to express a deep gratitude of thanks to the staff of Cumberland Village, Aiken for the wonderful life she had there for the past 5 years.  The staff of Right at Home of the CSRA, Aiken,  and the staff of Tri County Hospice, Aiken for caring for our mother  with love, and compassion.

At her request Mrs. Roberts was cremated and no services will be held.
