Mr. Dana Wade McCoy

New Ellenton, SC—A graveside service for Mr. Dana Wade McCoy, age 55, will be held at 2:30 pm on Tuesday September 1, 2026, at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery 95 Co Rd 74, Soperton, GA 30457 with Rev. Brandon Lynch officiating. Mr. McCoy entered into rest on Wednesday August 26, 2026, at the Azalea Health and Rehab Center in Augusta, GA. He was the beloved husband to Mrs. Crystal Rollison and a son to the late Mr. Foye McCoy and the late Mrs. Lois Hambrick McCoy. Mr. McCoy was born in Augusta, GA, and was a lifelong resident of the Aiken area. He was of the Baptist faith. He worked for twelve years as a guard for Allied Barton Security, and worked for five years with Hixon’s Roofing. Mr. McCoy also volunteered as a fireman for the city of New Ellenton, having served for thirty five years as a Lieutenant. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and coaching many sports including t-ball, softball, and travel ball. He was loved by his friends and family and will be deeply missed. Additional survivors include: two sons Brandon McCoy, New Ellenton, SC, and Jacob McCoy, New Ellenton, SC; two daughters Brittany (Tyler) Hixon, North Augusta, SC, and Madison McCoy, Augusta, GA; and four grandchildren Baylee, Reagan, Rowyn, and Tate. Mr. McCoy was preceded in death by his brother Jeremy McCoy and his sister Chasity Weathersby.
