Corey Logan Solomon

New Holland, SC—A celebration of life service for Mr. Corey Logan Solomon, age 31, will be held 2:00 pm Saturday April 23, 2022 at Earle Church of God with Pastor Tim Bevell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with military honors. Corey entered into rest Sunday April 17, 2022. He was the beloved son of Ms. Sharron Moore Solomon and Nick Cribb and Wayne Rabon.  He was a native and lifelong resident of Aiken County. Corey worked for Cribb’s Heating & Air where he installed HVAC systems for 15 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and the Army National Guard. Corey was deployed to Afghanistan to serve as a combat engineer.   His hobbies included hunting, fishing, boating, four wheelers, and hanging out with his buddies and was an avid Clemson fan. Additional survivors include one daughter Nova Lee Grace Solomon, Batesburg and two sisters Erica (Nick) Cribb, Aiken, and Selena Daugherty, Aiken. Corey's maternal grandmother, Grace Sheppard Moore Hughes, New Holland, and the late Frank Moore. His biological father, Mr. Alan Daugherty, Aiken.  Pallbearers will be Thomas Spencer, Derek Moore, Chris Storey, Trey Moore, Michael Moore, and James Ray. A visitation with the family will take place 6-8 pm Friday April 22, 2022 at COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PKWY (118 BYPASS) AIKEN, SC 29801 803-648-7175.
