Aiken, SC—A celebration of life service for Mrs. Cheri Lynn McDaniel, age 55, will be held on Saturday November 11, 2017 at 11:11 am at Grace Covenant Church of God, New Ellenton, SC, with Pastor Elijah B. McDaniel, Jr. officiating and with honors accorded by the U.S. Navy. Private internment will be held at a later date. Mrs. McDaniel entered into rest at University Hospital on Friday, November 3, 2017. She was the loving wife of Pastor Elijah B. McDaniel, Jr., Aiken, and the daughter of Mrs. Mattie Wilson Scott and the late Mr. Dillard Scott Sr. Mrs. McDaniel was born in Gary, IN, and had made Aiken County her home since 2005. She, along with her husband, was over Christ Central Church in New Ellenton, SC. Mrs. McDaniel was also a veteran of the United States Navy. Additional survivors include two daughters: Shannan (Brandon) Moses, Greenville, SC, and Shanea (Josh) Milton, Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Dillard Scott Jr., Aiken, SC, and Matthew Scott, Tennessee; one sister, LaTanya Whittler, Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren Isaiah Moses, Trinity Moses, Zion Moses, Elijah D. McDaniel, Joshua McDaniel, and Naomi Milton; and her mother-in-law Susie Crawford, Pineville, SC, and her father-in-law the late Mr. Elijah B. McDaniel, Sr.. Memorials may be made.
