Mr. Charles Marty Carroll, Sr.
Williston—Entered into rest  in Aiken, Tuesday December 10, 2013 at the residence of his daughter, Mr. Charles Marty Carroll, Sr. age 57 beloved husband of Mrs. Marie Owens Carroll, Williston and son the late Mr. Charles Henry Carroll and late Mrs. Nell Rhoad Carroll.

Services and burial will be held at a later date.

Mr. Carroll was a native of Bamberg County and made his home in Williston.  He was a retired Contractor in Construction and was a member of the Unity Baptist Church, Blackville, SC.

Additional survivors include one daughter-Beverly (Isaac) Starke, Aiken, one son- Charles Marty (Penny) Carroll, Jr., Blackville; one step daughter- Janis Harwell, Barnwell; five step sons-Albert Kennedy, Barnwell, Winfred Kennedy, Williston, Wayne Kennedy, Blackville, Eldon (Linda) Kennedy, Blackville, Anthony (Deanne) Kennedy, Blackville; three brothers-Ralph B. Cupp, Orangeburg, Cecil Cupp, Roxanna, IL; Johnny Cupp; one sister-Lorraine Axson, Neeses; 22 grand children and 23 great grand children.  Mr. Carroll was predeceased by one step son- Phillip Kennedy, one step daughter-Sheila Kennedy; three sisters, Reba, Debbie Cupp and Frances Taylor.
