Mrs. Carolyn Richardson Lott
Aiken—A celebration of life service for Mrs. Carolyn Richardson Lott, age 69, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday February 4, 2016, at Cole Funeral Home  Chapel with Rev. Brad Willis officiating. Interment will follow at Redds Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Lott entered into rest Monday, February 1, 2016, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. She was a native and a lifelong resident of Aiken. Mrs. Lott was the wife of Mr. Lindy Lott. She was the daughter of the late Mr. John H. Richardson and the late Mrs. Mollie Richardson. Mrs. Lott was the owner and operator of Northside Bait & Tackle Shop on York Street, Aiken. She was a member of Redds Branch Baptist Church and actively attended Kedron Baptist Church.
Additional survivors include one daughter, Shannon (Carlton) Shaw, Aiken; two sisters, Juanita Chenault, St. Cloud, FL, Janie Kelly, Aiken; four grandchildren, Lindsey Boyd, Ryan, Boyd, Emily Lott, Baylen Shaw; and three great grandchildren, Aliah Boyd, Anilah Abbey, and Jayden Lott. She was predeceased by one son, Michael Lott; two brothers, John Edwards Richardson, Vincent Richardson; and one grandchild, Josh Michael Lott.
Pallbearers will be John Richardson, Michael Hooper, Carlton Shaw, Tommy Richardson, Bo DuBose, and Gary Johnson. Memorials may be made to Kedron Baptist Church, 233 Kedron Church Road, Aiken, SC 29805.
