Warrenville—Entered into rest Sunday May 19, 2013 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Mrs. Brenda Gail Young Barwick age 65 former wife of Mr. Marion (Buddy) Barwick and daughter of the late Mr. Ernest Young and  the late Mrs. Ollie Seigler Young.

A celebration of life service will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 1st Baptist Church of Windsor with Rev. Bobby Paschal and Rev. David Young officiating.  Interment will follow at a later date in Levels Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Barwick was a native of Aiken SC and a resident of Warrenville, SC.  Mrs. Barwick received her CNA certificate from Aiken Technical College and had been employed with Pepper Hill, Mattie C. Hall, and Carriage Hills Nursing Homes.  She was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Windsor, Windsor, SC.  Mrs. Barwick was a fan of Nascar Racing, enjoyed Country Music and Western Movies.

Additional survivors include one daughter, Cyndi (Frank) Tice, Warrenville; two sons, Robbie Barwick (Sara Nordeen), Warrenville, Joel Barwick (Jolene DeLuca), Napa, CA; one brother, Rev. David (Vickie) Young, Aiken; five grandchildren, Nicholas Tice, Michael, Brian, Justin, and Alex Barwick; and several nephews.   Mrs. Barwick was predeceased by one brother and sister-in-law, Tony (Shelby) Young and a niece.
