Mrs. Bernice E.  Dixon

Aiken—A vigil graveside service for Mrs. Bernice E. Dixon age 80, will be held 11:00 am Friday, August 22, 2014 at Calvary Cemetery, Aiken,   with the Rev. Art Dalupang Celebrant.

Mrs. Dixon was the beloved wife of 50 years to the late  Mr. Harold M. Dixon, and daughter of the late Mr. Richard Schraeder, and the late Mrs. Ella Lenz Schraeder.  Mrs. Dixon was a native of Lavernia TX,  and had made Aiken County her home  for the past 24 years. She was an active volunteer at St. Vincent De Paul Society, Aiken, and  an extraordinary minister and communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church.

Survivors include one son, Gregory (Lisa) Dixon, Aiken.  Mrs. Dixon was predeceased by her twin sister, Nadine Graham.

In lieu of flowers the family has suggested that memorials be made to the SPCA  Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare, 199 Willow Run Road, Aiken, SC 29801.
