Aiken, SC—Mr. Antonios Dimitrios Kappos, Sr., age 58, entered into rest on Friday April 17, 2026, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Mr. Kappos was born Bronx, NY, but had made SC his home for a combined ten years. He was a truck driver for many years. Mr. Kappos was a God fearing man. He loved playing softball in his younger years, freestyle music, and enjoyed many sports. He was a fan of college football. His favorite wrestler was The Undertaker. Mr. Kappos was an entrepreneur, having many different businesses throughout the years. His favorite hobby of all was spending time with his grandchildren. He was loved by his family, and will be deeply missed. Survivors include: two sons Dimitrios Kappos, Kissimmee, FL, and Brandon Kappos, Camden, SC; one daughter Alesha Kappos, Winter Haven, FL; one brother Angelos Kappos, MT; two sisters Irene Kappos, Jacksonville, FL, and Joy Schuck; seven grandchildren Kiara Kappos, Brianna Salina, Kaydon Kappos, Xavier Smith, Natalie Rousett, Gabriella Rousett, and Kilani Kappos, with Lukas Kappos on the way. Mr. Kappos was preceded in death by one son Steven “Bucca' Anthony Kappos. A private service with the family will be held at a later date.
