Annie Rose Holley Westbrook
Aiken, SC--A Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Annie Rose Holley Westbrook, age 91 will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Taylor Wells and Rev. Kenneth Westbrook officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Westbrook entered into rest peacefully at her daughter’s home in Jacksonville Beach, Florida on Monday, November 13, 2017. She was the wife of the late Mr. Grafton Westbrook and daughter of the late Mr. Pink Holley and Mrs. Ethel Cash Holley. Mrs. Westbrook was born in Zamer, Mississippi and had made Aiken her home for the past 60 Years before moving to Jacksonville Beach, Florida where she lived for the past 6 years. She was a devoted and active member of Shiloh Baptist Church for 66 years where she taught Sunday School, was involved in BYMU, church mission work and many other church activities. A loving and compassionate Christian woman, she helped many people in need, both through and outside her church. Her life was a true testimony of her love for Christ. Surviving Mrs. Westbrook are her son Terry Westbrook (Deborah) in Aiken, SC and daughter Sharon Westbrook Hayes in Jacksonville Beach, FL. She was predeceased by her son Gary Westbrook and daughter Karon Westbrook Barton. Surviving siblings are James Holley in Alabama, Joe Holley in Florida and Sarah Crowley in Mississippi. She has eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren who were a constant source of love and happiness for her. Pallbearers will be Lonnie Westbrook, Nathan Hayes, Joshua Barton, Jim Westbrook, Jared Johnson, Justin Hayes and Daniel Thomas. A visitation with the family will take place 6-8 pm Friday, November 17, 2017 at COLE FUNERAL HOME, 1544 UNIVERSITY PARKWAY (118 BY PASS) AIKEN, SC, 29801. 803-648-7175.
