Mrs. Ann Marie Scott Wood
Aiken—A celebration of life service for Mrs. Ann Marie Scott Wood, age 73 will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, November 18, 2014 with Rev. James Robert Sharpe, Rev. Brancie Stephens, Sister Marie Snipes officiating. Interment will be follow in Graniteville Cemetery.
Mrs. Wood was a native and a life long resident of Aiken County. She the beloved wife of late Rev. Leo Wood, and a daughter of the late Mr. James H. Scott and the late Mrs. Margarite Sealy Scott. Mrs. Wood was an active member of the Unity Holiness Church where she headed up the WMU, and was over the youth and children ministries, and the Youth Sunday School Class Teacher. She attended LBC High School.
Additional survivors include one son, James (April) Wood, Wagener, five daughters, Melanie Boatner, Aiken, Pamela Ann (Bradley) Brooks, North Augusta, Cynthia (David) Phillips, Franklin Springs, GA, Margaret Vargas, Aiken, Lisa Marie (Scott) Hobbs, Kitty Hawk, NC; fifteen grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren; one sister, Mary (Billy) Hydrick, Aiken; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Jimmy, Terry, Tommy, Wayne, and Richard Scott.
Pallbearers will be: Grayson Phillips, Stephen Brooks, Noah Brooks, Richard Hydrick, Louie Hydrick, Timothy Sims, and Joseph Hobbs.
