Augusta, GA—A celebration of life service for Ms. Amy Lynn Shaffer age 40 will be held 11:00 am Friday March 11, 2022 in the chapel at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, Augusta, GA with Rev. T.D. Shaffer officiating.  Burial will take place following the service at Bellevue.  Amy entered into rest Tuesday March 1st, 2022 at her residence.  She was born in Clinton, Iowa and had made the CSRA her home for most of her life.  She was the daughter of Pastor Henry Bo Shaffer, Sr. and Mrs. Fran Wylds Shaffer of Graniteville.  Amy was a Christian, Loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She had a green thumb, loved animals, and adored children. She was an interior decorator whose main tool was a hot glue gun.  Amy was a member of University Parkway Church of God, Aiken.  Additional survivors include her beloved daughter, Kara Mae Skinner; one brother, Henry Bo Shaffer, Jr.; one sister, Christine Marie Locay; nieces and nephews, Alyssa Nicole Vaughn, Maxwell Anthony Shaffer, Jack Morgan Shaffer, Avah Grace Locay, Amelia Joy Shaffer. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Go Fund Me Facebook Page in memory of Amy. A visitation with the family will take place following the service in the chapel at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
