Amy Mollo Everhart

September 20, 1968 — October 14, 2024

Erwin, TN

Mrs. Amy Sue Mollo Everhart

Erwin, Tennessee--Amy Sue Mollo Everhart fought the great fight and joined loved ones in Heaven on October 14th with her daughter and husband by her side. Amy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, “Nannie”, sister and friend. Born September 20th, 1968 in Connecticut, Amy was one of eight children of Carolyn and Donald Mollo. Amy attended Hartsville schools and moved to the North Carolina Mountains soon after. The family comedienne, Amy was always ready with a joke, never missed an opportunity to ride in the front seat, and brought joy to the room with her infectious laugh. Amy loved her siblings dearly, and was proud of her many nieces and nephews and watching them build families of their own. Few things gave her greater joy than a Mollo family gathering and time together. Amy met her loving and dedicated husband James Everhart, and they spent over 30 years together. They shared many adventures, loved riding their motorcycles through the mountains and Amy especially loved listening to James play his guitar. Amy was a devoted mother to Hanna, and they shared a deep love for music. Amy shared a special bond with her granddaughter, Emma. They were truly two “peas in a pod.” Anytime they were together, Amy would say “I’ve got my Emma,” to which Emma would reply, “I’ve got my Nannie.” They were quite the pair. Amy’s ability to brighten a room with her presence will be sorely missed. In addition to her husband, daughter and granddaughter, she is survived by her siblings, Donna (Charlie) Palmer, Todd (Suzanne) Mollo, Cathy (Tony) Prozzi, Gary Mollo, Kelley Cole, Lisa Mollo and Michelle (Kevin) Renck. Amy never missed an opportunity to brag on her siblings and her many nieces and nephews. Amy joins her parents and special niece Leanna in heaven. A private celebration of life will be held to honor Amy’s memory how the family knows best, gathering with food, music and love. COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PARKWAY (118 BY PASS) AIKEN, SC, 29801. Please sign the online registry at www.colefuneralhomeinc.net.
